The physical security risk analysis is mandatory for all commercial companies, regardless of the nature of the social capital, that own goods or values with any title and are obliged to ensure their protection.
The legislative framework regarding physical security risk analysis, in Romania, is defined by:
1. Law no. 333 of 08.06.2003 regarding the protection of objectives, goods, values and the protection of persons;
2. Decision no. 935 of August 22, 2007 regarding the establishment of the model of the equipment for the security agents who carry out their activity within the specialized security and protection companies
3. Government Decision no. 301 of 11.04.2012;
4. MAI instruction no. 9 of 01.03.2013.
5. Government Decision no. 1002/2015 regarding the amendment and completion of Government Decision no. 301/2012 for the approval of the Methodological Norms for the application of Law no. 333/2003 regarding the protection of objectives, assets, values and the protection of persons was published in the Official Gazette, Part I, no. 984 of December 30, 2015;
